Editorial
This will be the last issue that I will be putting together as Editor. At this time, I would like to take the opportunity of introducing my successor, Kim Sawchuk from Concordia University, to our many readers. In the short time I have known Kim I have been impressed by her energy, professionalism, and intelligence. On this occasion, I would like to wish her the best of success in the years ahead. And, I would like her to know that she will be well supported in her role as Editor by the many individuals who work behind the scenes to ensure the quality and continuity of our journal.
With this in mind, I would like to thank all those on our staff who have helped me over the past six years. On the publishing side, I would like to salute Rowland Lorimer for his superb stewardship as our Publisher; Marilyn Bittman and Naomi Pauls for their keen diligence with management, copyediting, and proofing; and, Anne Carscallen for her steady success with subscriptions management. In terms of our online journal, I would like to thank Richard Smith and Michael Felczak for their imagination and technical brilliance. In terms of the editorial function, I would like to thank: first, Anne Erickson, who worked with me for the first few years; and then her successor, Therese Boyle. I want to thank them both for their tireless dedication, high literacy skills, and all round good humour. Finally, I would like to thank all those who have submitted papers or who have reviewed submissions over the past few years. The quality of a journal is surely a reflection of those works that get published. But in almost all cases, submissions don't get published on the efforts of authors alone - but only through the strong critical mentorship of peer review. I want to express my sincere appreciation to all those individuals in our large and ever growing community of referees.
